LCPS Technology Vision Statement
I just ran across this in my inbox. It's a new Technology Vision Statement from LCPS, developed by its Technology Steering Committee. I hope this community, so steeped in leveraging technology on the job every day, will push and cajole our children's teachers and principals to put it into action.

I mark students absent on a piece of paper every morning. So much for technology.
ReplyDeletePerhaps the school system could leverage the expertise of parents in this area? A parent-led task force on how to better use technology in the schools? I know teachers don't like parents telling them how to teach, but Loudoun County has such a wealth of technology expertise in its residents, it is a shame that the school system ignores it.
