Don't look to ...I think it's a GREAT idea. Don't look to DC however for examples - look to the state of Colorado. They combine homeschooling with a few days a week inside the school for learning in specific subjects. Saves them a lot of money. It's more of a combination approach not one or the other. And who would overs...and how would these be funded? And who would oversee the quality of education? And what if they start to have failing test scores.... the list goes on.
